| August 4th, 2020: In May of this year the Board of Directors of the Long Prairie Gun and Archery Club (LPGAC) voted unanimously to reopen the range for Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Instruction and Qualification. The Humboldt County Sheriffs Office was also consulted and approved the reopening of the range for limited use, so long as appropriate COVID-19 related protocols were in place. Protocols which we were easily able to implement. Unfortunately, shortly after the LPGAC Board of Directors voted to reopen the range, Green Diamond Resource Company, the owners of the property used by the LPGAC, chose to keep the range closed. In June of this year I was told that the LPGAC Range would be allowed to reopen for use in mid August. Following this I committed to conducting both Initial and Renewal Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Classes again effective September 13th, 2020. Unfortunately, I was informed late last week that the closure of the Long Prairie Gun and Archery Club Range would be extended through the end of September. Again, this extension was per Green Diamond Resource Company, not the Long Prairie Gun and Archery Club. Because of the uncertainty regarding range availability, both due to COVID-19 and Green Diamond Resource Company, I have elected to cancel all remaining firearms training courses for the remainder of 2020. My sincere apologies to all of our loyal students who have continued to support us as well as our new students who have contacted me regarding CCW Training for not being able to meet your training needs. I also apologize to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) for being unable to do my part to reduce the backlog of CCW Renewals HCSO wants to finalize but is unable to do so because existing CCW carriers are unable to meet the Renewal CCW training and qualification requirements of the HCSO. It is also with a heavy heart that I announce that due to the death of my mother on July 8th, 2020, as well as deteriorating health on my part, I have decided to start movng forward with the next stage of my life by retiring for the 3rd and final time. I will not be scheduling any classes for 2021 due to uncertainty regarding range availability. If/when Mike Lee Solutions starts scheduling classes again, it will likely be under a new name and new ownership. It has been a privilege and an honor to serve you. Mike February 22nd, 2018:

This course will probably be offered on the same days as our CCW Sustainment Course with the Low Light/No Light Training starting 1 hour before dusk with the final courses of fire occurring in total darkness. Times for this course will depend on the time of year. Mike Lee Solutions will also be hosting an "Empty Hand/Edged Weapons Training Course" offered by T.O.M. Combat Solutions in 2015. This course will be added to the training schedule when curriculum validation and instructor availability are finalized. June 3rd, 2014:
for us consisting of NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, NRA Personal Protection in the Home Instructor, and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. By using 12 hour training days and consolidated range shooting, Lowell was able to effectively present training that would normally be accomplished over 4 and 1/2 days in less than 3 days. This does not include the time students devoted to "Homework" after the training day concluded. This was a long and demanding weekend for the Instructor Candidates. We applaud and appreciate the effort and dedication shown by all of the new NRA Instructors who participated in the training.
