About Mike Lee Solutions

    Mike Lee Solutions was founded in 2011 by three friends with very diverse skill sets who collectively
    had over 60 years of firearms and personal protection training experience.

    This experience encompassed both law enforcement and military training and operational
    experiences across a wide spectrum of activities.

    We wanted to expand on the locally available National Rifle Association firearms training offerings as
    well as share the extensive experience we had to offer.

    We also asked ourselves "What firearms and personal protection training would we want our own
    family members to receive to prepare them to survive the realities of a violent world?" After pulling
    from the broad range of experiences and training we all had to share we developed our Initial
    Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Course as an answer to this question.

    While we have expanded our course offerings since 2011, Our Initial CCW Course is still our flagship
    course. The 16 hour curriculum for our Initial CCW Course is eclectic with material drawn from the
    NRA Pistol and Personal Protection Courses, the Front Sight Four Day Defensive Handgun Course,
    Massad Ayoob, input from the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office and our own experiences.

    Our Initial CCW Course not only meets, but exceeds all training requirements for issuance of a
    Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Permit by the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office.
